My hobby is definitely traveling. I make jewelry, I like to cook, I used to be really good about doing yoga every day, I love movies and books, but far and above all of those things I love to travel. This picture shows one of the over-stamped pages in my brand new passport.
One of the many benefits of living abroad is my opportunity to travel to far-flung places easily and frequently (tons of photos here). In the last two years I’ve had the opportunity to travel all over Southeast Asia – including Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, and of course Malaysia. I still need to make it to Singapore, but I definitely won’t be visiting Burma until the government changes for the better.
I have just recently achieved my self-imposed challenge of visiting 30 countries before I turned 30. So far I’m on 35 – all of which I have visited in the last 12 years (my first time abroad was during my study abroad during my junior year in college) – and I can’t wait to keep going. High on my list are Japan, China, India, New Zealand, Chile, Argentina, Peru, the Maldives, Nepal, Oman, Russia, the Seychelles, I could go on and on. Looks like I’ll be living the expat life for a while longer…
