You can find out by visiting the Birthday Calculator (thanks to David for inspiring this post). Here’s what it had to say about me:
- Your date of conception was on a Monday.
- Your birthday falls into the Chinese year beginning 2/18/1977 and ending 2/6/1978 which is the Chinese year of the Snake.
- Your Native American Zodiac sign is Raven; your plant is Ivy.
- You were born in the Egyptian month of Choiach, the fourth month of the season of Poret (Emergence – Fertile soil).
All of which prompted me to further research the zodiac signs to see if they fit my personality. (Unfortunately I couldn’t find much about the Egyptian month of Choiach, so if anyone knows anything about that, please pass it on). I’m always curious how everyone born in the same year (for example) could possibly be the same.
For the most part, I liked the bit about the Raven:
“Highly enthusiastic, and a natural entrepreneur, the Crow is quite a charmer. But he/she doesn’t have to work at being charming – it comes easily. Everyone recognizes the Crow’s easy energy, and everyone turns to the Crow for his/her ideas and opinions. This is because the Crow is both idealistic and diplomatic and is quite ingenious. In nurturing environments this Native American animal symbol is easy-going, can be romantic, and soft-spoken. Further, the crow can be quite patient, and intuitive in relationships. Left to his/her own devices, the Crow can be demanding, inconsistent, vindictive, and abrasive.”
Clearly, everyone recognizes my “easy energy” and turns to me for my ideas and opinions
And, I suppose, the snake:
“People born in the Year of the Snake are deep. They say little and possess great wisdom. They never have to worry about money; they are financially fortunate. Snake people are often quite vain, selfish, and a bit stingy. Yet they have tremendous sympathy for others and try to help those less fortunate. Snake people tend to overdo, since they have doubts about other people’s judgment and prefer to rely on themselves. They are determined in whatever they do and hate to fail. Although calm on the surface, they are intense and passionate. Snake people are usually good-looking and sometimes have marital problems because they are fickle. They are most compatible with the Ox and Rooster.”
Yes, it’s true that I can be a bit stingy, and we’ve already explored the ways that I’m vain, and I certainly do hate to fail… But I’m not quite sure about the saying little and possessing great wisdom part. I’ve never been accused of being too quiet…
Either way, they clearly have to make these descriptions general enough so that anyone could recognize bits of themselves in each one…
There was quite a lot more in the birthday calculator too… What does your birthday say about you?

Hey, I am a snake born in the Egyptian month of choiach, too. Hmm….any chance that we are twins separated at birth?
I tried mine and it was fun!
thanks for the link
Maryam,
Crazy! I knew this birthday calendar would uncover many interesting secrets
Duke,
Glad you enjoyed. There were a lot of other, possibly more interesting, facts that the calculator came up with. I just didn’t want to go overboard by including them all. I did like the calculation showing how many hours you have been alive though – that’s a crazy thought…
